public bathrooms in high traffic areas should have this. It's a
machine attached to the toilet that dispenses a fresh seat cover when
you wave your hand at it. Brilliant.
Hours and hours later, my mom broke the news that an elderly relative
would be unable to visit tomorrow. "She can't get a ride here," Mom
said. "And she is taking an antibiotic and has terrible diarrhea. I
said, 'Well, don't come if you have diarrhea,' and she said, 'Yeah, I
have terrible diarrhea.'"
My sister and I looked at our pieces of orangy-brown pumpkin pie.
Yum. The Sani-Seat seemed extra useful at the moment.

i love those sani-seats! i was on the lookout when we went to vegas to see if any of the places had them. unfortunately i missed out. they do/did have them in cedar rapids, but i only used the bathroom on the main level when we left & i'm not sure if they replaced the ones at the gates because that's where i'd seen them before.
ReplyDeletei always wave twice to make sure i get a completely fresh plastic cover.
BArnum and Bagel was the pioneer of Saniseats- way before O'Hare had them.
ReplyDeleteTrue - they were well ahead of their time. I liked the circus decor there, too.
