Now that McCain claims to not be campaigning because of the economic crisis (although he was partly responsible for the failure of S&L banks that required a bailout in the 1980s, so he should stay the fuck away from Washington), Theo is extra revved up. He knows that this is just the McCain's campaign latest shenanigan - pretending that he knows anything about economics, how ridiculous! - so he gathered all the plush animal companions living in our apartment for a group protest against this latest farcical travesty of a mockery of a sham. (Apologies for the blurriness of the shot. Our digital camera is dying.)

ReplyDeleteLove it! However, in your message to PACO members on Facebook, you wrote "Bush-McCain-Palin failures on economics". Just wanted to set it straight that Palin hasn't actually ever done anything, and, much as I hate to admit it, is therefore blameless for this crisis. Not that I think she'd be any use in one....
ReplyDeleteI see your point, but I suspect that, since Palin is George W. Bush, she'd just do what he has done. In the few public statements Palin made on the economy, she said things like, "We need to regulate the economy so we can de-regulate it." That's not an exact quote, but the gist of her failed "policies."

ReplyDeleteGiant Stuffed Penis (GSP) totally wanted to use a new sign saying telling people not be dicks by voting for McCain, but I thought that would disrupt the group spirit. I think Theo and GSP will need to do a separate photo with that message, though. Good idea.
