Resisting Urges

I discovered an individually wrapped string cheese in my backpack. It's been in there for about a week, I think. I seriously considered eating it for a second or two, as cheese is really damn expensive these days and I hate waste, but then I noticed that the hermetically sealed package reads, "KEEP REFRIGERATED." Better judgment prevailed.

  1. A professor I had was a huge cheese lover and was particularly found of the smelly cheeses. She would leave it out to let it get a little rank, said it gained sharp flavor.

  2. was it still in a solid state? Ive noticed string cheese tends to goopify after a week in the backpack.. of course i live in Florida so maybe that has something to do with it?
