Happy Birthday Dr. P and A Good Women's Equality Day to All

I think I managed to nicely pay homage to Dr. P on her 31st birthday as well as Women's Equality Day in my rambling post on BlogHer today. There's nothing I love more than forcing two semi-disparate topics together because I want to discuss them both, come hell or high water.

    thanks for the bday wishes and the blog post.
    i'll add this. while there are many things that are still a bigger struggle for women, i have never once thought i had to work harder than a man to prove myself in medicine or surgery or questioned whether i could make a career choice because i'm a woman. This is something that i would say has changed even in the last 10 years in surgical fields, based on what women before me went thru in residency. its a good time to be a woman in surgery...
