I still have no news on the MFA thing, so I thought I'd post a picture of gnus instead. Until I searched for a photo of gnus, I didn't realize what strange-looking beasts they are. Supposedly, all decisions at New School will be made by April 15, so perhaps I shall soon have some news to go along with the gnus. I better get in, as I have some great ideas for my candy bra picture, and the deal is that I only eat a candy bra if I get into a creative writing program.

Gnus (Not News)

Oh my. are you going to eat a candy bra off of yourself? If so, THAT should be something you videotape.
ReplyDeletei really hope you get that response.
ReplyDeletebut we wouldn't stop you from eating it either way, though.
also, i had/have a gnu pinata that i got when i was 5 at disneyland. don't even ask me why. that was the on i liked. it was pale blue & yellow. realistic colours, obviously
Crossing my fingers even more, now!
ReplyDeleteA rainbow colored gnu pinata sounds pretty awesome, Mar. I'm kinda jealous.
ReplyDeleteThe candy bra eating won't be anything scandalous, No Regrets. And I am only doing it if I get in. The Mars bar gets eaten regardless of what news I get.
I was thinking more acrobatic. I know *I* can't eat anything off my breasts!
ReplyDeletemy word verification was dunghol.
While, I was rooting for you before - I'm almost desparate for you to get in now. Candy bra? Pictures? Awesome....
ReplyDeleteSeriously - good luck. I know this has to be horribly stressful. I also know wanting something so much it hurts (which is how I felt about getting into the graduate program I wanted in to.)
